This blog is probably one of the most exciting blogs to date because it includes a BIG life update!
As you may know, I recently finished up working as a private educator for a family in Lake Tahoe. As I was wrapping up my time there, I was a bit unsure of what I wanted to do next. I knew I was not ready to go back to public education and wanted to travel for a little bit longer. I had narrowed it down to two options- move back to Thailand or move to Australia. I was very conflicted on which place to choose. I made a pros and cons list but still was not sure what choice would be best because both locations had so much to offer.
I was so torn between the two options, that I started feeling a little anxious. As a result, I simply asked God to show me what He wanted me to do in the next chapter of my life. I prayed the same prayer for weeks. I knew I would faithfully and fearlessly follow His will if He revealed what I was supposed to do next. I knew that was a bold prayer, but I was committed to following His calling.
In March, I received a text message about a job opportunity that was completely unexpected. I really had my heart set on Thailand or Australia, but I knew I had to explore the opportunity, even if I was not sure about it. Ultimately, I decided to apply for the job and just 3 days later, I was interviewing for the position.
The interview process was quite lengthy and there were multiple parts to the interview. There were a few times I was not sure that I was going to get the position, but I continued to pray about it. I knew if it is what God wanted, then I needed to continue to be patient.
Now I can confidently tell you that I was offered the position that I so longed for. With that being said… I can finally announce that I am going on my biggest adventure yet!
✈ I’LL BE TRAVELING THE WORLD AS A PRIVATE EDUCATOR! ✈
I’ve been hired as a private educator for a family that have plans to travel through 6 continents over the next school year. I will travel with the family and teach the kids during the week and explore a new country approximately every month with them. Some of the countries I will visit are Greece, France, New Zealand, Egypt, Israel, Argentina, and Patagonia, just to name a few.
I know you have a million different questions, but I’ll save that for another blog post. I will start my new adventure August 18th in London and I could not be more excited.
As I think about this new adventure, I’m just in awe. I cannot believe the adventure I’m about to embark on, and I get the opportunity to do it with the most amazing family. I had no idea this would be my next adventure, but this opportunity just fell out of the sky. I know God had His hands in this situation from the beginning and I am so thankful he has led me here. I cannot wait to see how this adventure unfolds!
